BREAKING NEWS: Students Protest Commemorating UMI Makassar Anger

Dozens of Indonesian Muslim University Students (UMI) that are members of the Student Alliance UMI, conduct demonstrations commemorating Bloody April Makassar (Anger) in front of the campus UMI, Jl Urip Sumoharjo, Makassar, on Thursday (04/24/2014).

They unfurled a white banner that read, "Forgiveness does not mean forgetting Anger and Anger Complete Case Militarism and the Decline".

"We will not forget that human rights violations. Attacks students using firearms. Weapons that should be used to protect the people of Indonesia. Military Student has treated the same as animals. We will not forget the history of it," said Field Coordinator, Diwan, in his speech. (*)
